Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 Miesha Theresa Tate, born on August 18, 1986 is an American mixed martial artist. She is currently in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was previously a competitor for Strikeforce which is where she was a past Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked number 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings, as of October 3 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. As a teenager, she was a tomboy she frequently hung out with the boys of her community on playgrounds.
